DTEA, Mandir Marg observes Earth Day with Green Circle

Delhi Tamil Educational Association, Mandir Marg School celebrated Earth Day in association with Green Circle on 21/04 at the school campus . DCP, Central District, Sanjay Kumar Bain was the Chief Guest. Students showcased various models on Sustainability of resources to the parents and guests. Many cultural programs such as  Geeta dance , Nukkad natak, Martial art demonstration & yoga performances were staged by the school children. Thanking the audience, Jaya Prasad, Principal of the school  lauded the efforts of Green Circle for introducing Eco bricks initiative, which was emulated by school children, who made eco-bricks during lockdown which were later converted into a platform like structure at the school last year.  Green Circle members presented Eco bricks to the students & teachers- in charges who performed during the program. Special plantation drive was also organised. Highlighting the Earth Day theme of the year, 2023, "Invest in our planet" , Romila Gandhi, a member of Green Circle delivered an interactive speech.  To mark the occasion, Green Circle members Vishal Lall, Anurag Mohan , Kesan, Saigal and Chitra Jain planted trees.
